My passion for coaching started from a huge interest in people, in how they experience things, in why they make certain choices… That fascination with people and their story first led me to study theology.
But it wasn’t until I dared to take charge of my own personal development that everything fell into place. Meetings with inspiring coaches, shamans, energy workers, body workers gave me the space not only to embrace myself, but also to understand the wounded healer within myself. That journey through my own injuries shaped me into who I am today, and I like to use that experience to guide others on their path of growth and transformation.
My interest in bodywork plays an increasingly important role in who I am as a coach. Bodywork has helped me ‘get out of my head’ and reconnect with my emotions. I believe that we need to be approached as a whole, as body and mind, to enable true transformation. Discovering breathwork and energy therapy was mind-blowing for me.. It was written in the stars that I had something to do with it.
We are all already connected to ourselves and to each other. I only really learned to allow that connection if I dared to admit my own vulnerability. I learned by trial and error to embrace my shadow sides and release the urge for control. The latter only came about because I was allowed to meet people who gave me the space to be myself and to grow in self-esteem. And that’s exactly what I want to offer as a coach: a safe environment to grow further in authenticity.
Exploring my own dealings with the masculine and feminine within myself is another important part of my personal journey. Inspired by Eastern philosophy, I went in search of what real masculinity (and femininity) can mean today. That has helped me to understand and embrace deeper layers of my identity. This exploration has given me valuable insights that I like to take with me in my guidance to support others in their own journey of discovery in this area.
On my trip, I also noticed my sensitivity to energy work. Energy is an essential element in our existence, and understanding and working with these energies has solved a lot of blockages for me. It has broadened my perspective and allowed me to explore hidden layers of emotional and spiritual growth, both for myself and for the people I mentor.
This interest in energy work adds a deeper dimension to my coaching practice. It allows me to look at people’s well-being in a more holistic way.
I still have a deep fascination for meaning and spirituality in all its various forms. Sometimes energy work or breath work in itself brings in a spiritual dimension. It is so powerful when you see that people find a deeper meaning in life. I am always looking for new ways to help others in their search for inner balance and fulfillment.
I am very lucky to be able to guide new coaches as a teacher / mentor coach and in the field of personal development. In it, I can pass on the knowledge I have gained in various courses – from basic coaching training to walking coaching, systemic coaching and breathing coaching – and help translate it into practice.
In short, I am a passionate coach, energy therapist and mentor, always looking for new ways to support others in their growth and transformation. My motivation is to create connection, embrace vulnerability and guide others to a life full of potential and fulfillment.
